Health Guarantee
Veterinary Care: Every puppy from Dainty Steps is examined by a licensed veterinarian before going to their new home. They receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and a comprehensive health check to ensure they are in excellent condition.
Initial Health Period: We guarantee that your puppy is free from contagious diseases at the time of adoption. If any health concerns arise within the first 14 days, please contact us immediately so we can work together to address the issue.
Genetic Health: We take pride in breeding Cairn Terriers with sound genetics. Our puppies are guaranteed to be free from serious hereditary conditions that would affect their quality of life. This genetic guarantee covers the puppy for up to one year from the date of adoption.
What We Provide
Health Records: You will receive a complete record of your puppy’s vaccinations, deworming schedule, and any veterinary treatments.
Starter Kit: Each puppy comes with a care package to help them settle into their new home. This includes a sample of their current diet, a familiar toy, and helpful tips for transitioning your puppy.

Owner Responsibility
To ensure the ongoing health and happiness of your Cairn Terrier, we ask that you:
Schedule a vet check-up within 72 hours of bringing your puppy home.
Follow your veterinarian’s advice for continued vaccinations and preventative care.
Provide a loving, safe environment with proper nutrition and regular exercise.
Failure to meet these responsibilities may void the guarantee.
Replacement Policy
In the rare event that a serious genetic condition arises during the guarantee period, and the condition is confirmed by a licensed veterinarian, we will:
Offer a replacement puppy from a future litter (when available), or
Provide a refund or partial reimbursement for veterinary expenses, as agreed upon.
This guarantee does not cover conditions caused by accidents, neglect, or illnesses unrelated to genetics.
